2025 marks a significant milestone - the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Under the guidance of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the Tourism Promotion Center will implement numerous large-scale cultural and tourism programs and festivals to welcome international visitors, promote the city's tourism image, and strengthen connections with global partners. We look forward to receiving businesses' registration for the following domestic and overseas tourism promotion programs in 2025.

FESTIVALS AND TOURISM EVENTS IN HO CHI MINH CITY

The 11th Ao Dai Festival kicks off the 2025 event series from March 1-9 at President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park, Nguyen Hue Street, and various tourist spots. The festival will feature spectacular ao dai shows, creative competitions, and unique exhibitions celebrating the traditional beauty of national dress.

The 21st Tourism Festival follows from April 3-6 at September 23 Park, District 1. With over 100 tourism and culinary booths, the event promises direct business-to-customer networking opportunities and domestic tourism stimulus for the 2025 holiday and summer season.

The 19th International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2025) will take place from September 4-6 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This is Vietnam's only tourism fair featuring an International Hosted Buyer Program, gathering 500 booths and major global tourism corporations.

Notably, Ho Chi Minh City will host the 12th Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities General Assembly from September 3-6, 2025. This international event brings together representatives from 131 member cities and 57 TPO member tourism organizations, offering valuable opportunities to promote city tourism to international friends. The organizers encourage tourism businesses, especially startups in digital transformation and green tourism, to participate.

In November, the 3rd River Festival will be held at Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi area and riverside tourist spots. Visitors can experience distinctive cultural, entertainment, and culinary activities along the romantic Saigon River.

Concluding 2025, the 5th Tourism Week will run from December 5-12, highlighted by the 8th Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon (December 12-14). This series will offer unique cultural, sports, and music experiences combined with attractive promotional programs.

OVERSEAS TOURISM PROMOTION PROGRAMS

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will intensify tourism promotion in potential international markets, beginning with activities in Melbourne and Sydney (Australia) in March-April, followed by promotion in Guangzhou (China) from May 13-18, featuring the GITF International Tourism Fair.

In Europe, the City will organize promotional activities in Frankfurt and Munich (Germany) from May 17-25, participating in IMEX Frankfurt. Notably, in Q2-Q3, Ho Chi Minh City plans to collaborate with Vietnam Airlines for tourism promotion in Milan (Italy), coinciding with the new flight route launch.

In Q4, the tourism promotion delegation will attend IMEX Las Vegas (USA) from October 4-12 and ITB Asia in Singapore from October 13-18. Finally, the first Ho Chi Minh City - Japan Festival will be held in Tokyo in early November.
